The open hole drillable bridge plug is a kind of sealing tool with two-way slip support, hydraulic seat sealing and drilling and grinding. The bridge plug is widely used in oil testing, fracturing, water plugging, cementing and other processes. It can withstand bidirectional pressure difference and temporarily or permanently plug the lower high-pressure oil, gas, spray, leakage and other layers.
Working Principle
Connect the drillable bridge plug to the lower end of the hydraulic setting tool, connect the hydraulic setting tool to the pipe string, and lower it to the downhole design position. Insert the steel ball into the pipe string. When the steel ball reaches the sealing surface of the shunt switch on the hydraulic setting tool, hydraulic pressure is applied into the oil pipe through the cement truck. When the pressure suddenly drops to 0, the drilling bridge plug can be set.
